The size of an item indicates the effort required to get the job done, and team members are responsible for sizing.

The product backlog is a living document that changes according to business needs, market conditions, changes in laws, and so on. Product backlog items are considered ready for selection for the next sprint when they are small enough to fit into a sprint, allowing the team to start working on these requirements immediately. By managing the product backlog effectively, teams can ensure that they deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of their customers.
