7- An Example of Scrum Practice

Let's say that a store wants to announce and sell its products online. Let them have decided to implement this project with the Scrum methodology.

The first thing that an experienced product owner who knows the market conditions should do is to set a product goal and try to create a product backlog before starting the first sprint.

Remember that the product owner is responsible for setting a product target and managing the product backlog.

Therefore, the project will need to work with stakeholders to understand what is required.

Scrum does not have a detailed plan created at the beginning.

The product owner agreed that they should place 1,000 orders online within 1 year in the meetings he held with the stakeholders and determined this as the product target.

The next step is to prepare a product backlog. Initially, the product backlog may contain only a few ideas. It doesn't have to be very detailed.

For example;

Creating the start page.

View one product.

Creating an order form.

Creating the add to cart feature.

Creating a credit card payment feature.
