Understanding the information among stakeholders is very important for the progress of the project. Especially if the incoming information is verbal, we should focus on listening, not hearing.
To understand the following correctly:
What does the speaker say?
What does he mean?
How do you relate what you say now to what you said earlier?
How can I use the information provided by the speaker?
Does the speech contain a feeling that I should be careful about?
Is it what I am told, the whole story or a section?
Is there any consistency between what I already knew and what was told?
Did the speaker explain the whole subject?
Will it be supported by writing that may be misunderstood?
Did I tell back to the person who gave the information that I understood?
